DESCRIPTION:

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a technology that emits light of different wavelengths, thus reaching various types of targets such as melanin (hair, freckles and dark spots), blood vessels (micro vessels of the face, neck and lap) and collagen. Therefore, it can be used for various treatments. The light emitted on the skin generates heat, reaches the red color of the vessels and the dark color of the melanin of the hair and spots, eliminating them later, stimulates and reshapes the collagen keeping the skin surface intact.

Its versatility enables wide applications in aesthetics, such as: hypertrophic and acneic scars, rejuvenation, stretch marks, blemishes and hair removal. Each of these indications requires knowledge of photonics, light-tissue interaction or selective photo thermolysis, the physiology of the biological processes involved, etc.
